Ok, so we have tried to instill a sense of money earning and saving in our kids. You work hard, you earn money and then you save it. With the savings you get to buy great things. Like I-Bonds, a college education. That Gum Roll that you love so much.
However, it's hard to do with Matthew. That boy is a money magnet. He collects discarded lottery tickets, looks for money on the floor and under the coin changer machines. He finds a little bit of money and has a nice collection of used lottery tickets.
A few months ago he found $10 on a grocery store floor. It was fluke, never to happen again.
Wrong.
He searches through the used lottery tickets and to date has found $26 in uncashed tickets.
Today. $20 found on the ground again.
Forget work. I need to get this kid to give me six numbers of his choice.
